It's been a while, but the shop revamp is starting to take shape. new tropical racks have now been put in place and the tanks are almost all installed.
A big thankyou to Mick, Bruce, Kath, Dale, Flic and Bill for all the hard work

The counter has been moved to the centre of the store.

and a new 8ft freshwater display tank is up and running. housing Geelongs only fresh water Motoro stingrays. Aswell as rays, it is home to a colony of Geophagus tapajos, corydoras catfish and a baby sailfin plec.
We are now an Eheim GOLD dealer, so we can offer great prices on the top quality German products like canister filters and autofeeders
The reef tank is also doing well.

'SUGAR'
HAS BEEN STOLEN!!!
We are appealing to anyone who has any information relating
to a robbery at Reef and River on Saturday 5th Sept between 8pm and
8.30pm.
'Sugar' our 10 - 11ft carpet python was smashed and
grabbed.
The thief was seen exiting the scene with sugar and was carrying a hammer,
wearing a black balaclava.
If anyone has any information, please contact Bryce

Reef Tank Looking Good.
10 months on and the reef
tank is starting to come in to its own. Good skimming, water circulation
and lighting have proven to be the key factors.
It is now home to Elenor the lionfish,
a Spotted Sandweaver, a Scopaz Tang, a Moray eel and an epaulette shark.

Monty has been STOLEN!!!
We are appealing to Anyone who may have
information regarding the whereabouts of our 11ft carpet python 'Monty'. He was
stolen from the store on saturday night at around midnight by someone wearing
a white hoodie. If any one has any information that could help us retrieve him
please contact either Wes or Bryce on 03 52222424.

Work has started on the reef display
tank.

With the much appreciated help of
Jordan Burling and his dad Grant, the tank is well on its way to being ready for
a fresh start.

Check out the revamped freshwater display tank.
Moving away from the traditional "planted tank", here we're going for
the bioptope river system. This tank is also now home to our new friend Gibo,
the 18" long Sailfin plec. kindly donated to us by Carol and Rod. Thanks
